Graduation

I started this blog out of a need for an outlet. I had just left the only city and family I had known to be with my then fiance, now Hubby.

I moved to a small rural town where people with my skin color were less than, inferior and well - just plain unwanted there.

Being separated by many miles from my family, and then unaccepted by my Hubby's family and my new city - my refuge became my only Happy Place: San Diego, California.

This blog provided a place to vent my frustations, my successes and even the reuniting of my son. It provided a place for me to vent my job situations and without naming names - those who became my supporters and my enemies.

With my small studio apartment and the sun shining brightly in the best weather I've ever known: I love where my life is now. Wonderful Hubby, great and busy job and I am finally in more peace than I have been in many years.

It brings me to my time of Graduation from Life is a University. I havent learned it all, but I believe its time for me to move on. To focus on my life from this point on. Not that I will never blog again, but it may be different when I do. Not that i wont read your blogs anymore - but I wont post for a longtime.

But I leave you with my very first blog. It even shows me how Ive grown...

Life is a University. There is MUCH in life to Learn. I am closing this chapter with the famous words from the Sound of Music:

So long, farewell, Auf Weidersehen, goodbye.
I hate to go and leave this pretty sight.
Adieu, Adieu, Adieu - to you and you and you!

Now Remember: Every new beginning, is some other beginnings end.

Ciao blogland...I'll be seeing you!

I know right? Busy work. Less time to blog. Even lesser time to read others. Even lesser time to check on my son and my husband who works opposite hours. More weight gain. It's just really time to focus on other things right now. But it will free me up to read YOUR BLOG TD. Yours I will never stop reading! My one and only true reader! My kindred spirit! I'll always comment on yours :)))

There's always Master Degree Time...dont worry - I'll be back at some point!
